With the Spring market in full swing, real estate sales present a very different picture than a year ago.The tumultuous sellers market that has so dominated for the last 5 years has changed. We are experiencing a buyer’s market in some locations. There are now many more homes on the market and, for the most part, they are staying around longer.Buyers are finally getting a break from the super inflated, multiple contract, and pay way over the asking price scenario!But, that is NOT the case everywhere in the DC area.There ARE pockets where we are seeing multiple offers again!!!In addition, there are many more possibilities than before, for buyers.And, interest rates are still fairly steady in the 6.0-6.5% range!This is a terrific time for buyers to take advantage of low rates!
